Finland downs Spain in opener!


Finland took care of Spain 47-0 (28-0) in the opening game of 2013 Womens World Championships at ISS-Stadium in Vantaa, Finland.Finland made the game easier for itself by taking 16-0 lead in the first quarter. Which took Spain by total suprise! First it was quarterback TIINA SALO running the ball in and then her pass connected with SARI KUOSMANEN for another score. As ELINA SEPPALA added one more score and KUOSMANEN scored her second touchdown in the second quarter, Finland led 28-0 at half. JENNI LINDEN scored twice in the second half and JANNA-JEMINA SEILES once to final score 47-0 (28-0).
