Clements leaves Raiders for GFL

The 25 year old, 1.80 m wide and 86-pound John Clements changes from the Swarco Raiders from Innsbruck to the New Yorker Lions to Brunswick, having under Raiders head coach Shuan Fatah won in the last two years, just about anything in Europe and Austria possible ist.In his first Saisonmit the Tyrolean top team, he won the title in 2011, both Euro Bowl competition, was Austrian champion and received the additional title of “MVP Defense-2011”, the AFL awarded. Also for 2012 Shuan Fatah from Hammonton, New Jersey-born defensive back, safety and punt returner got to Innsbruck. Unfortunately injuries ensured that they are only active in five games for the Raiders on the pitch konnte.Vor his move to Europe John Clements played at the University of New Hampshire (NCAA Div FCS). He was active from 2004 to 2008 and started in 37 of his 48 games for the Wildcats as a safety, cornerback and return specialist. After he exposed in his freshman year, he worked year after year until his senior year upwards. In 2005, he recorded in eleven encounters as Defense Back 28 tackles and 2 Interceptions.Bereits 2006, he was in all the matches of the season in the starting lineup as a cornerback and has 87 tackles, including five for playing space loss and two interceptions. This performance brought him to the Third Team All-Conference to the CAA (Colonia Athletic Association). In 2007, he rose to a total of 99 tackles, intercepted a ball of the opposing quarterbacks and could also block two kicks on special teams. At the
end of the season he was with the election to the 2nd Team All-Conference CAA belohnt.In his senior year as a senior, he moved to the position of Free Safety.
